Lauren Swanson and Josiah Dugger have experienced one of the agonizing encounters imaginable.
But they’ve figured out how to turn out the other side. And now they’d like to thank every one of the fans and devotees who helped them along the way.
About a month and a half in the wake of disclosing to the world that Swanson endured an unsuccessful labor a short time back, the TLC star utilized her web based life stage yesterday to present an update and to offer her outrageous thanks.
“I just want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers, support, and for all you Mama’s out there for sharing your angel baby stories,” the Counting On star captioned an Instagram photo of a framed wedding photo of the couple placed atop a piano.
She added in this post:
“It’s easy to share those happy times in our lives, but sharing something hard, like losing a baby can be like putting salt to a wound.
“I know by y’all sharing your stories it has not only helped me, but many other women who have gone through the same trials.”
And Lauren concluded with a bible verse from Psalm 147:3:
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
As previously reported, and as depicted on an episode of TLC’s Counting On, Swanson suffered a miscarriage in October; she and her husband opened up about the loss in a video that aired this past February.
“It really was a hard time for our family going through this right after we got married,” Duggar said at the time, adding:
“And all the dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands dashed before our eyes.”
Just so very tragic.
